Book published: El Quim de la Boqueria, 25 years.

December 2013, Quim’s book has been published. A summary of all the situations Quim has lived while running his business. He’s always loved being a chef in Europe’s oldest market, La Boqueria.

This book commemorates his silver anniversary in the kitchen, tells his story. Here recounts many of his experiences, his hopes and his appreciation of everybody who gave him unconditional support and contributed to him becoming a world famous chef today.

Quemo Restaurant Opening

1 June 2013, the inauguration of Quemo restaurant in Hong Kong, along with the Chef and friend Aitor Olabegoya was a success. 

Quim’s recipe
Eggs with small squids.
Recipe for one person.
2 eggs.
100 grs of small squids.
1 garlic.
1 chilly pepper.
Olive oil.
Maldon salt.
Black pepper.
1. Fry the eggs in a pan with plenty olive oil.
2. Slice the garlic and deep fry it with the chilly pepper until golden brown. Then, add the small squids and saute them.
3. Serve on top of the fried eggs with Maldon salt and black pepper on top.
